Viggiani, Giovanni - July 28, 1940 to June 27, 2020 Born in Pisticci Matera, Italy. It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Giovanni Viggiani. He died peacefully with his family surrounding him at Markham Stouffville hospital. Beloved husband of Melina (Cariglia) for 52 years. Loving father of Maria Grazia (predeceased), Nick (Grace), Lucy (Dan), Damiano (Christina) and Davide (Sandy). Proud Nonno of Lara, Johnathan, Sienna, Bianca, Luca, Massimo, Victoria, Julia and Lorenzo. Predeceased by his parents Nicola and Maria Grazia and his siblings Giuseppe and Rosetta . Loving brother of Lina. He will be forever missed for his dedication to his grandchildren's sporting and social events. Giovanni will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives and many friends. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. While we wish we could invite everyone to share in the remembrances, due to the current circumstances, attendance to the visitation and funeral has been limited.
