Obituary of Howard Shaw

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Howard on Thursday June 25, 2020 at the age of 89 years. Howard is now re-united with his loving parents Greta (nee Piercey) and James. He was the cherished brother of Ralph Shaw (predeceased), Lucille Purdham and her husband Robert Purdham (predeceased) and Martin Shaw (predeceased) and his wife Nancy Shaw. He was the loving uncle of Steven, Paul, Daniel, Jason and Laurie. Howard will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the staff at Bramalea Retirement Residence and the Brampton Civic Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Howard. Private Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Howard’s life will be held at the Scott Funeral Home “Brampton” Chapel. In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings and the well-being of everyone, the Celebration of Life will be held by invitation only. In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Howard to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Princess Margaret Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.Words of comfort, shared stories, photos and memorial donations may be left for the family using the links above.
