Obituary of John Dunbar

John DunbarJohn C. Dunbar of Eugene died Oct. 30 of age-related causes. He was 89. No service is planned.He was born Dec. 17, 1921, in Winfield, Kan., to Jesse and Dessie Cates Dunbar. He married Donna Wright on Sept. 27, 1942, in Mulvane, Kan. She died Dec. 19, 2005.He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1941. He served with the Navy Seabees from 1943 to 1945, stationed in the South Pacific. He worked for Pierce Freight Lines, later becoming Dunbar’s RV Connections.
