Obituary of Fidel Canete

Fidel is survived and missed by his loving wife of 48 years, Mariquit, son Franz (Suzanne), daughter Maryann (Todd) and grandchildren Lauren, Olivia and Joshua. He will be remembered by his siblings Natalia, Aquilina, Adelaida (Lito), Rufina (Thomas), Maria (Dominic), Alfredo (Suzette), Danilo and Edcholo and countless nieces, nephews and friends.Fidel was a truly genuine, easy going and kind hearted person. He always greeted you with a smile and never met an enemy or a stranger. He was always the first to wish you a happy birthday or Merry Christmas or Happy New Year. You could not help but feel welcomed in his presence.He loved to sing and even though the lyrics may not have been right or his timing was off, he had a beautiful voice.We were blessed to have had our time with him and are comforted to know he is continuing his beautiful journey to heaven with our Lord and to be with the friends that have passed before. Thank you for the wonderful life you have given all of us. We will miss you everyday. Rest easy Daddyeo...until we meet again
