Vince then changed to a career with the Ministry of Health, where he spent 15 years travelling the interiors of Guyana helping those villagers ailed with malaria. In search of a better life for his family, Vince moved to Toronto, Canada on May 8, 1976 where he then dedicated 28 years to Trench Electric, before retiring. He married Angy, the love of his life and soul mate of over 65 years, who survives him. Vince was a loving father to Debra, Dave (Dawn), Andrew, Suzanne (Jan), Alison and Darryl. Vince will be remembered by his sisters; Patricia, Sandra (Will) and Madonna (Ottis) and sister-in-law Elaine. He has left behind a legacy of great grandchildren; Talia, Marlon, Finn, Reign and Mariah.Vince was a beloved family man, one of few words but knew how to tell a good story. He loved playing games, watching sports, cooking and bidding on horse races. He was the epitome of a gentleman. Known as easy going, patient and kind who practiced rituals, like weekly Friday night dominoes and his daily 2pm shooter. Rye was his choice of beverage and he was always ready to cheers! His aptitude for cooking will be greatly missed, especially his chow mein, bake and saltfish, pepper pot, founcee, pone and sponge cake. Vince was an Avid sports fan. It all began with cricket, his idol sport and England was his team. He also cheered on the Leafs, the Jays, the Raptors and the Cowboys. In his quiet time, you would find him reading or gardening.
