Obituary of Giuseppe Lacalamita

God called Giuseppe Lacalamita peacefully on June 15, 2020 at the age of 76, surrounded by his family. Giuseppe, also known as Peppino and number 99, was famous for his charcoal barbecue (gas and propane were unacceptable), and he loved making wine, dried salami and prosciuttini. He was always proud of his vegetable garden and his fig trees. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending social functions with family and friends. Giuseppe was a social individual that could make friends wherever he went, even the grocery store. Giuseppe is survived by his wife Katherine (Rina) of 50 years, his children Grace (Tony), Annalisa (Rob), and Frank (Kathy), his sister Rosa Caporusso, and his loving grandchildren Marisa, Joey, Selina, Katija, Aurora, Gemma and Myles. Giuseppe was a loving father, husband, brother, brother-in-law, grandfather, uncle and friend to everyone. A special thank you to the staff at Princess Margaret and Brampton Civic Hospital.
