Obituary of Alvin Timothy Blais

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Alvin Timothy Blais A.K.A. PAPA CHIEF on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at home. Beloved husband of Terri for 25 years. Loving father to Chrystal (Daniel), Jessica (Sean), Faith, Bryn (Shannon) and Derek (Tiffany).Loving grandfather to Brookelynn, Paitynn, DJ and Madelynn. Predeceased by his parents Katherine Ann & Fabian Gilbert Blais (Gracie Doris), as well as siblings Clarence, Marryann, Arthur, and Gilbert (Zola).He will remain in the hearts of his siblings Willy (Ruth), Floyd (Bernadette), Sally (Syd), Wilfred, Grace and Hilda (a.k.a. Rosie) (Keith), as well as brother in law Eddie. Alvin will be remembered as the best uncle to so many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed being out on the water with family and friends, fishing and just horsing around. Our dare devil enjoyed his work as a skyscraper window cleaner, and although gone will never be forgotten by those whose lives he touched. In light of the recent COVID-19 social distancing regulations, the funeral service will be private and restricted to a limited number of family members. However a Drive Past Visitation will take place on Sunday June 14, 2020 from 1pm until approximately 2pm. This type of visitation provides a safe and designated viewing area where the Blais family can gather, in a group of fewer than 10 people, to acknowledge those in their vehicles.
