Loredana Di Fonzo

Obituary of Loredana Di Fonzo

Loredana Di Fonzo,Loredana Difonzo, age 67, passed away peacefully June 6th 2020, surrounded by her family due to cancer. She was born October 19th 1952 in a small town called Spoltore in Italy. She married her childhood sweetheart Pasquale DiFonzo October 24th, 1971. She had two girls: Monica and Daniela. She loved adventure and enjoyed traveling and seeing new places. Although she was a woman of a few words, she had a calm, tranquil way about her that drew people to her. She was meek and yet strong, always there to give to others which she did generously with all of her heart. One of the most important things in Mom’s life was gardening, and she took great pride in her flowers. Gardeners are special people. It takes patience and perseverance and a love for living things to grow a garden or a beautiful flower. Gardening is tedious and hard work, but there is something that gardeners know and experience that others sometimes do not. There is a beauty and a satisfaction in seeing the result of our labor grow and come to fruition. There is a peacefulness that can come over us as we care for and nurture the flowers and plants in a garden. Her life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32-"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Many have been touched by her and she will be greatly missed. For those who wish to live stream the funeral service, please use the following link and password on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. http://www.distantlink.com/dlm4.html Password: Arbor2020In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Loredana may be made to The Scott's Mission.
