Jennifer Spence “Precious” Sunrise: May 21, 1951Sunset: June 2, 2020 It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Jennifer “Precious” Spence, a servant of God, a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. Together, may we celebrate her life, and the time we were given with her. Jennifer passed away peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital on June 2, after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. She fought hard to overcome her illness, but was called up to heaven to be an angel above. Beloved wife of Ansley, loving mother of Christopher (Cassandra) and Natalie, caring grandmother of Jayden. Jennifer who was one of eight siblings, will forever be remembered by her brothers and sisters, as well as all her cousins, nieces, and nephews. The Spence-Watson family wishes to express our thanks and appreciation to all who shared their expressions of love during our time of bereavement. Our hearts are full of gratitude to all of you for your prayers, support, consolation, and many acts of kindness during this time. All that you have done has given us strength to continue on. Due to the current conditions under COVID-19, a Private Funeral will be held on Monday, June 8th, 2020. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Cancer Society of Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in honour Jennifer. In light of the recent COVID-19 social distancing regulations, this service will be private and restricted to a limited number of family members. We apologize for any inconvenience but ask that you keep Jennifer & the family in your thoughts and prayers.
