Obituary of Bridie Ivany

IVANY, Bridie Laurine (nee Clark) of Oakville, Ontario passed away peacefully on June 2, 2020 at the age of 85 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Born March 23, 1935 in Cottrell’s Cove, Newfoundland the youngest child of Martin Clark and Anna Belle (nee Boone). Lovingly missed by her husband of 64 years Tilson and children Darlene (Kal), Brenda (Bert) and Sharon (Elizabeth). Pre-deceased by siblings Bramwell, Effie, Violet, Ditha, Andrew, Ivy, Clarence, Reginald and Sterling. Bridie will also be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews especially Terry who always held a special place in her heart.Bridie dearly loved all children and after raising their own daughters, she and Tilson were delighted to have 4 grandchildren Ryan (Sarah), Alyssa (Devin), Kaylee (Cody) and Scott. Five great grandchildren continually added to her joy over the years, Hunter, Jaxon, Hannah, Ella and Olivia. Bridie’s devotion to her family could never be doubted and every family member knew that they were loved unconditionally. Bridie’s kind and loving spirit is a legacy that will be carried on by her family. All who knew her delighted in her sense of humour and mischievous and playful nature.A private family funeral service will be held at Glendale Funeral Home and Cemetery on June 6th.
