Obituary of John Bernard Foubert

Foubert, John Bernard (1949-2020)Surrounded by love and prayers, John passed away peacefully on May 23rd 2020. He is pre-deceased by his loving wife Margot, who he missed dearly. He is also pre-deceased by his father Douglas and mother Elizabeth (Betty), and survived by three siblings. John will be fondly remembered and missed by many – family, extended family and friends.John always had an enduring passion for all things mechanical, loved to read and was an avid fisherman. He often showed kindness to others through fixing things, and had a wonderful knack for creating new and amazing treasures from lost finds.Heartfelt thanks to all those who were involved in providing for John’s care. Funeral and interment to be held at the Capital Memorial Gardens. Donations made in John’s memory to Diabetes Canada or the Ottawa Humane Society would be gratefully appreciated.
