Obituary of Pietro A. Ianni

Pietro A. IanniIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pietro Antonio Ianni on Friday, May 29, 2020, at the age of 89. Pietro is survived by his wife of 58 years, Concetta (Vercillo) and their children Gino (Sandra), Americo (Lynne), and Pina (Giovanni Donato). Cherished nonno to Francesco, Nicholas, Pietro, Mateo, Pietro, and Teresa. Beloved son of the late Francesca Pucci and Giovanni Ianni. Loving brother to Giovanni (late Annuzza), Antonio (Dora) and Rosa. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses, Yolanda (Vincenzo), Rosaria (Francesco), Vincenzo (Rosina), Giuseppe (Nina), Fortunato (Maria) and Teresa (Alfredo). Pietro will be warmly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins in Ottawa, Italy and Argentina. He will be deeply missed for his gentle nature, love of gardening and generosity to always lend a helping hand. We will miss you Nonno. When restrictions are lifted a public Memorial Service, celebrating Pietro’s life will be held.
