Obituary of Surabramha Roy

Surabramha Roy, age 78, passed away at his home in Oakville, ON, on the morning of Saturday May 23, 2020. Surabramha was born on January 1, 1942 in Kolkata, India to Gopinath and Radika Roy. At the tender age of 18, he left India to pursue higher education in Munich, Germany. In 1966, he decided to follow his dreams and build a life in Canada. He established a career in the trades and logistics. He had many passions in his life, but first and foremost, was his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Shibani Roy, and his twin sons, Raja and Lala Roy. Amongst his other qualities, he had a sense of fun and adventure. He loved to travel and try new things. Always partial to a good laugh and had a great sense of humour. He took immense pleasure in the small things in life, including music, food, and drink, in the company of family and friends.
