Obituary of Mieke Buisman

In Loving Memory Iefke (Mieke) Buisman passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday May 17th, 2020. She was born to parents Pieter and Harmke (nee Buiter) Steringa on June 25th, 1940 in Uithuizen Netherlands. She was the 4th of 8 children. In August, 1951, she and her family immigrated to Canada. They eventually settled in Brampton in 1954, where she met the love of her life, Thymen (Tim) Buisman (1934-2002). They were married in April, 1957. They had four sons. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mom/Grandma/Gramma Mieke & Opoe will be deeply missed by her sons, their wives, along with her 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
