Obituary of Harold Taylor

Harold TaylorThe funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Pierce Mortuary in Eureka, Calif., for Harold Taylor of Eugene, who died Nov. 28 of heart failure. He was 75. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the California mortuary.He was born Feb. 22, 1936, in Burley, Idaho, to Walter and Iva Bates Taylor.He served in the U.S. Army National Guard. He worked as an electrician for 40 years, retiring in 1993.Survivors include two daughters, Cherie Taylor of Tangent and Dottie Lou Taylor-Garcia of Eugene; a stepson, Michael Lawler; four sisters, Norma King, Elaine Newton, Utahna Daws and Dorothy Jones; and two brothers, Jim and Tim.
