Obituary of Harold Bunsee

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Harold Bunsee on May 13, 2020 in Toronto from natural causes at the age of 77. Devoted father to Sheldon (Shivani) and Shawn (Shalina). Cherished Grandpa of Jailen. Adored brother of Grace, predeceased by his loving siblings Linda, Chandra, David and Mona. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends in Trinidad, Montreal, London ON, and here in the GTA.Growing up in Barrackpore, Trinidad, Harold was the eldest of six siblings and the patriarch of the family from a young age. Here he developed his green thumb and became a lifelong gardener. As a young man he was a passionate sportsman, playing football and cricket. His love of sports continued throughout his life. Immigrating to Montréal in 1972, Harold started a career as a welder and the family settled in the suburb of Châteauguay. In 1990 the family moved to London, Ontario, where Harold spent the next 24 years. To be closer to his sons, Harold moved to Toronto and enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and especially his beloved grandson.Unfortunately due to current events, the viewing and funeral service will be held privately for close family and friends.
