Obituary of Brandon Kane
The hands on the clock have temporarily stopped, springtime birds have paused their singing and winter snow has returned in May.It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brandon Peter Kane who passed peacefully in his sleep on Thursday May 7th, 2020 at age 35. It appears Brandons kind heart was too big for this world. He will be greatly missed by his loving mother Patricia, his devoted sister Tahrra and her children Saidee (3yrs)and Kane (2yrs). He is also survived by his beloved Gran, Mary Kane, Auntie Winifred and Uncle Brian (Big Bri), Auntie Janet and Uncle Brian and his cousins Mark (Amanda), Michelle (Jacob), Peter (Jenny), Christina (Wes), Steven (Zoey), Marina (Patrick), Camille (Peter) as well as many other Aunts, Uncles and cousins abroad. He is predeceased by his cherished Granda, Peter Kane and beloved Auntie Maria. Brandon's larger-than-life personality will also be deeply missed by his many friends especially Christian Sorel and the Van Essen family. Brandon was born and raised in Canada and was proud to be Canadian although he identified himself adamantly as Scottish! Brandon attended the Froebel Education Center, Saint David of Wales, St Joseph Secondary, St Martin's Secondary and George Brown College. At 3 years of age he announced to mommy that when he grew up he wanted to be a plumber. Brandon's wish was completely fulfilled recently when he achieved his master plumber certification. He was the happiest plumber anyone had ever seen. In the short time that we were lucky enough to have with Brandon, he brought us all enormous joy and laughter of which we will be eternally grateful. Patricia would like to thank her family and her friends especially Marty McNally, as well as her families and coworkers at Mentor College for their overwhelming support and messages of condolence over the past few days. A special heartfelt thank you goes out to the Scanlon family for all of their help to Ms. Kane over this difficult year. Due to the current pandemic situation a memorial will be planned at a later date. Donations in Brandon's memory to the Hospital for Sick Kids to fight Pediatric Cancer would be appreciated (link in flowers and donations)."You will never walk alone"
