Obituary of Margaret VanDevender

Margaret B. Van Devender of Eugene died Dec. 2 of Alzheimer’s disease. She was 89. A celebration of life is planned for a later date.She was born July 4, 1922, in Waumandee, Wis., to Daniel and Emma Servais Adank. She married Gerald Van Devender on Nov. 18, 1941, in Trego, Wis. He died July 15, 2002.She was a homemaker.Survivors include three daughters, Geraldine Wacker, Judy Bowne and Gayle Thorsby, all of Eugene; a sister, Armilla Grubbs of Wisconsin; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.Burial will be at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.
