Patrick BrotzThe funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Eugene for Patrick John “Puck” Brotz of Eugene, who died Nov. 30 of cardiac arrest. He was 41. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church.He was born Aug. 21, 1970, in Sheboygan, Wis., to Rodney and Patricia Gehdig Brotz. He married Melissa Sparks on Sept. 6, 2003, in Telluride, Colo.Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Elsa and Hattie, both of Eugene; and a sister, Caroline of Elkhart Lake, Wis.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Mother and Child Center under construction in Shinshicho, Ethiopia.
