Obituary of Giovanni Boem

Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather________________________________________It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giovanni Boem. Giovanni leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Laura. He was an adoring and dedicated father to Vivian (Sean) and Tanya (Michael). Giovanni was a loving Nonno who dearly cherished his grandchildren, Ava, Allegra, and Luka. He will always be remembered by all the people whose lives he touched as a kind, loving and generous person. Giovanni will be greatly missed by his sister, Elvira, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends both here in Canada and in Italy. Giovanni has now joined his deceased brothers, Umberto, Sergio, Fulvio, Gino, Gianino and sister, Lina – siblings resting peacefully together.Special thanks to the staff at Trillium Mississauga Hospital and Cooksville Care Center for their devoted care and compassion. Due to current restrictions, a private service will be held for immediate family only. A celebration of Giovanni’s life will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations in Giovanni’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society Peel.
