Carl AndersonSPRINGFIELD — The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for Carl A. Anderson of Springfield, who died Dec. 6 of age-related causes. He was 86.He was born Feb. 23, 1925, in Portland to Carl and Adina Erickson Anderson. He married Josephine “Jo” Phair on July 31, 1948, in Eugene.He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Portland. He served in the Army during World War II, from 1943 to 1946, in China, Burma and India. He worked as a carpenter in home construction.Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Liza Stucky of Springfield and Anne Gordon of Eugene; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Remembrances to First Baptist Church of Springfield or Eugene Mission.
