He was truly the epitome of kindness, selflessness, and a no nonsense person - especially on his biblical beliefs. This transcend through the sacrificial love and care he showed for everyone. Like Gideon in the Bible (Judges), he may have started out timid, but quickly emerged with amazing courage, boldness and fearlessness for his God.We will missed him dearly and will fondly remember him for the ways in which he touched and influenced all of our lives. May his righteous legacy live on in all of us.Special thanks to the Staff and Health Care Workers at Vermont Square LTCH, Cummer Lodge LTCH and Isabel & Arthur Meighen LTCH (where he spent his final years), for their spiritual and memory-nursing care during the latter part of his life.I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8In lieu of flowers, donation in his honour, can be made to:The Alzheimer Society Toronto (Tribute Gift) https://alz.to/give/#buttonsectionThe Salvation Army Meighen Health (In Memoriam) https://salvationarmy.ca/meighenhealth/ Due to the restriction of the COVID-19 pandemic, a Memorial Service will take place at a future date.
