Obituary of Senta Wozniuk

Senta Maria Josephina WozniukPassed away peacefully May 4, 2020 at the Tall Pines nursing home in Brampton Ontario.She was the loving wife of the late Wasyl Wozniuk.The beloved mother of Oleh Wozniuk and wife Doris and Alexandra Trood and husband Greg.The loving grandmother of Andrew Trood and his wife Erin, Katrina Wozniuk and her spouse Daniel, and Tiffany Wilson and husband Craig.She was the loving great-grandmother of Hudson Trood and Kayden Wilson. And those she didn’t get a chance to meet, Griffin Trood and Quinn Wilson.She was affectionately known as Baba to all of her family. It made her happy to be called that by everyone.She belonged to the Canadian Ukrainian Women’s Federation for over fifty years. She spent most of her summers in Hawkestone Ontario where she had six o’clock morning swims and then coffee. She was happy to have her family there to visit where she would lavish them with great meals, fun and laughter.She was proud of her Ukrainian culture. Baba would always hold great dinner meals for Easter and Christmas.She loved her family with all her heart, they were everything to her. And her family loved her back.The family would like to thank the Tall Pines for looking after her. In particular we would like to thank Karen and Thelma. Thank you so much for caring for her!You can shed tears that she is gone.Or you can smile because she lived.You can close your eyes and pray she will come back.Or you can open them and see all that she has left.Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her.Or you can be full of the love that you shared.You can turn your back on tomorrow and live for yesterday.Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.You can remember her only that she is gone.Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.You can cry, close your mind, be empty and turn your back.Or you can do what she would have wanted, smile, open your eyes, love and move onBaba, you will be greatly missed. You will always be in our hearts.
