Obituary of Anna Mielnik

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Anna passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side. She leaves behind her husband Wlodek (Walter) of 49 years, her son Pawel (Paul (Gabriela), daughters Beata (Jarek (Jerry)) and Malgosia (Megan (Arek)) and her grandchildren David, Patricia, Jacob, Daniel, Emily, Alicia and Isabella. Anna leaves behind many family members and friends here in Canada and in Poland. She will always be remembered by all the people whose lives she touched as a friendly, loving and generous person. Special thanks to doctors and nurses from UHN, LHINS, and Heart House Hospice and PSWs at Care Partners and especially Dr. Alba and Team, Dr. Salvo, Nataliya, Anna, Chondro, Joseph and Irene for their devoted care. Due to current restrictions, a private service will be held for immediate family only. A celebration of Anna’s life will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations in Anna’s memory can be made to the Heart House Hospice in Mississauga or Toronto General Hospital.
