Obituary of Helen Hernandez Demonteverde

Helen Hernandez Demonteverde, passed away peacefully with the love of her family in her heart on May 4, 2020. She was born on October 19, 1941 in Manila to Fernando and Rosario. She married Mardie on March 14, 1970.Helen was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her only child and embraced every moment with her. She especially loved her role as Nanay to her grandchildren, Josiah and Gabrielle. Helen loved to love on people. She shared her love with food and always had an open invitation in her home. She's remembered by many who she has baked a birthday cake for with handcrafted designs of flowers or a favourite toy or character. She loved to garden. Her favourites are magnolias and roses.Her life was an example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 - "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ".Helen is survived by her husband, Mardie; daughter and husband, Marlen and Sydney; brother and wife, Juvenal (Joji) and Emma; grandchildren, Josiah and Gabrielle; nephew and wife, EJ and Nadia and their children Darien, Jared, Lincoln.
