Obituary of Lynda Demont

Lynda Louise Demont passed away Peacefully on May 3, 2020. Loving daughter to George (deceased) and Alice MacFadyen Sister to George (deceased), Patricia (deceased), Murray and David. Loving mother to Terrence (Kim),Timothy, Tracey (Terry),James and Deandrea. Adoring grandma to Paiton, Tylor (Shideh), Mackenzie, Maddison, Dalton (Johanna) and Logan.Lynda was a kind and loving aunt, sister in law and friend to everyone who knew her. Our dear mother loved to laugh and sing and there wasn’t an Italian song that she didn’t know all the words to. Before losing her sight, she was an incredibly gifted artistand she could give some of the best artists a run for their money. I mean Picasso who? Her finest pieces were of her most beloved animal. The horse. No matter what was going on in the world, one picture of a horse made her smile. She said that walking through a field of horses was a better smell then a field of roses. We hope you get to run through those fields forever.Mom, we love you and will miss you always.Special thanks to the wonderful care providers of Extendicare Guildwood who kept her safe and happy for many years. To her nurses, words aren’t enough to express our appreciation for the love and kindness you gave to our dear mother. And to Robyn, you are the best roommate my Mother could have asked for. You made her laugh and smile so much.
