Obituary of Enid Stephanie Alstrom

Enid Stephanie AlstromSeptember 10, 1929 - April 26, 2020 Enid passed away peacefully at the Salvation Army - Meighen Manor from complications from COVID-19. She is lovingly remembered by her cherished Son and Granddaughter, Terry & Hailey Alstrom. Enid's loss is deeply felt by her closest family: Nephews Rosford Harry & Frederick Stoll (and their families). She is also mourned by a host of loving friends and relatives both local and abroad. Enid was born in Guyana and Migrated to Canada in 1966. Enid worked at State Farm Insurance for 25 years in Administrative roles and is fondly remembered for her smiling face and pleasant disposition. After retiring Enid moved in to the Salvation Army Citadel apartments and became a proud solider of the Army. This connection provided the desire to retire at the Manor after suffering a stroke. The staff at the Manor kept Enid active and safe until her passing. Enid's final resting place will be at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Toronto where she is “Safe in the Arms of Jesus”.
