Teresa D’SilvaMay 20, 1921 – April 29, 2020It is with profound sadness that the family of Teresa D’Silva announces her peaceful passing on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at age 98.Beloved wife of the late Leslie D’Silva. Loving mother of Derek (Anna), Donald (Marie Therese), Maryanne Pinto (late Zachary), Jennifer D’Costa (Michael), Keith (late Mavis) and Kevin (Stacy). Cherished Nana to Karen, Christopher (Francesca), Ryan (late), Warren, Melissa, Mark, Diane, Lauren, Nicole, Ella, Benjamin, Erica and Alexander, and proud Big Nana to Jackson and Auston. Teresa, daughter of the late Charles and Eurinda (Linton) Pereira, was predeceased by her siblings, John, Alice (Dolla), Sr. Olga, Charles (Stan), Agnes (Tutoo), Norah, William and Margaret.She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and friends of all ages.Teresa was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who was unwavering in her faith and service to God. She was a dedicated teacher who never stopped learning. Her zest for life was showcased through her art, creativity and her love for song and dance. It was always wonderful to watch her face light up when the music turned on! She made a lasting impression on those who knew and loved her.Please remember Teresa in your prayers. May she rest in eternal peace and happiness.
