Obituary of Diana Strong

Diana StrongDiana Kay Strong of Eugene died Dec. 3 following a heart attack. She was 60. No service is planned.She was born Dec. 19, 1950, in Wichita, Kan., to Norris and Christine Holland Strong. She married Jerry Parks in 1970. He died about 1979.She held a master’s degree in library science from Portland State University. She worked as librarian at Cascade Locks schools for 25 years.Survivors include a sister, Marilyn Heiken of Eugene; a brother, Dale Strong of Portland; and her domestic partner of 20 years, Matthew Smith.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
