Obituary of John Aquila

It is with great sadness that the family of John Aquila announces his passing in his 90th year on Monday, April 27, 2020. John moved to Toronto from Italy in 1948 where he fell in love with his wife Teresa (née Perro), to whom he was married for nearly 62 years. He was the dedicated father of Anthony [1959-1988], Linda (DJ), Sandra (David), and Donny (Veronika). He leaves behind six beautiful grandchildren: Alexandra [Joseph], Adriana, Anthony, Juliette, Aidan and Sienna. John is also remembered by his brother Dominic and sister Violet and in-laws Louisa and Tony. John is predeceased by his beloved parents, Anthony and Teresa, and sister Mary.A man of few words, but incredible heart, John was always happiest whistling in his garden or taking long walks along the beaches of Florida. He truly devoted all of his life to each of us. We are lucky and honoured to have had such a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather.
