Obituary of Joffre Alan Feren

FEREN, Joffre AlanAt Bridlewood Trails Residence, Ottawa on Thursday, April 23, 2020, Joffre Alan Feren in his 91st year went to be with his Lord and Savior. Joffre was born in Aurora, Ontario on December 16, 1929. Beloved and devoted husband of Marion (Fraser) for 68 years. Loving father of Jill Sauvé (Gerald), Judy Chuli (Michael) and Fraser Feren (Kimberley). Dear grandfather of Benjamin (Kathy-Lee), Joel (Tarah), Jeremie (Alicia), David (Justine) and Jonathan (Michelle) Sauvé, Sarah Chuli and Jennifer Wessinger (Tim). Also survived by 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Violet (nee Billing) Feren. Dear brother of Ellen Bonhomme (late Leo), late Norva Chandler (late Murray), late Earl Feren (Joyce) and late Paul Feren (Bernice). Joffre was a faithful believer and walked with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ from an early age. He loved to read and was an avid gardener and a skilled woodworker. In keeping with Joffre’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at Capital Memorial Gardens in Ottawa at a later date.
