Obituary of Michael Godkin

Michael GodkinA memorial graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene for Michael Rexford Godkin of Eugene, who died Dec. 4 of emphysema. He was 59.He was born Oct. 27, 1952, in Coos Bay to Lloyd and Eleanore Godkin. He married Kenna Hammond on July 12, 1971, in Salem. She died in 1972.He graduated from Junction City High School. He worked for Georgia Pacific in Junction City.Survivors include a daughter, Kelly Morin of Palmdale, Calif.; two sisters, Wanda Hill of LaPine and Rebecca Godkin of Chemault; a brother, Thomas of Blaxland, New South Wales, Australia; and one grandson.Arrangements by England’s Eugene Memorial Chapel.
