Obituary of Jozo Sisko
How do you begin to summarize and pay tribute to the life of a loved one that you just lost? The answer is I don’t know, memories begin to flood your mental landscape and you are quickly overcome with emotion. Again, you ask yourself how does one begin to express everything that we as a family want to say about a man who so fiercely loved his family and life. Well, let’s start with he was loving, generous, hardworking, strong, proud, loud and social. He enjoyed his life and lived it to the fullest and on his own terms, no compromises and God bless him for that. Jozo took extreme pride in his accomplishments and there are too many to mention. He was a man of many sayings a few being; “Price Is Right”, “Oh Yeah Baby”, “Goodbye Charlie”, and the big one “I’m Never Going to Retire”. Jozo took no fashion cues from anyone and rejected all fashion trends and stayed true to his black dress pants and any conservatively coloured dress shirt that would button up and oh yeah only short sleeves will do. Outside of his love for his family, he loved his work a proud Chrysler employee, he also loved his wine, all inclusive resorts, smoked meats, watching wrestling, and his ultimate favorite past time telling stories especially the one’s that made him sound tough and accomplished also included was how he managed to find a great deal. Let’s not forget about the jokes, the ones you’ve heard a hundred times before but now leave you wanting to hear them again. Jozo will be missed so lovingly by his wife Ljubica, daughter Maria, sons Mike and Tommy, as well as his nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, friends and coworkers. The truth is a full book could be written describing Jozo and his life, but the hearts of his family are broken and could only offer this small glimpse into the life of a man that was truly larger than life. May you be at peace and know in the depths of your soul that you were loved and that you created a life that anyone would be proud of.From your loving family we salute you.
