Obituary of Bernadine Waters

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Bernadine Waters of Eugene, who died Dec. 11 of age-related causes. She was 86.She was born Oct. 24, 1925, in Cordell, Okla., to Herschel and Ruthie Cronk Stubblefield. She married Loyd Waters on Nov. 1, 1945, in Roswell, N.M.She was a homemaker.Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Judy McCollum of Aromas, Calif., and Karen Bailin of Eugene; a sister, Eugenia Meyers of Eugene; and two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A son, James Waters, died previously.Burial will be at Roseburg Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the Humane Society.
