Obituary of Frederick Clement Buschlen

Dr. Frederick C. Buschlen D.D.S., Capt. Dental Corp. Retd.April 21, 1925 – April 13, 2020Fred passed away peacefully Monday April 13, 2020 He was a graduate of Dentistry from the University of McGill. He began his dental career with the Canadian Forces Dental Corp. peace keeping force in the Middle East. After completing his tour of duty he began his practice in Arnprior, Ontario, and then later moved to Ottawa, Ontario (Bell’s Corners) to continue his dental practice. After more than 30 years in this location he retired leaving the office in the hands of his son, Donald.He was well known in the area, but few knew that he was proficient in 4 languages, achieved his private pilot’s licence, and participated in a number of activities such as sky diving, spring board diving, and not always so successful, cooking classes. He was well known for his kindness, generosity and above all, sense of humor.He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Anna, his son’s Donald (Deboragh), Eric (Shawna), daughter Eleanor (David), and grand-children Bradley, Thomas, Kristen (Levi) and Caroline.In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario would be appreciated.Due to the current health situation, a service for Fred will be held at a later date.We Remember Their Love, When They Can No Longer Remember
