Obituary of Ruby Schwarz

Ruby Schwarz (nee Borisenko)May 12, 1921 - April 19, 2020Our dear mother Ruby passed away peacefully at home on Sunday and is now in the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Just a few weeks short of her 99th birthday. Ruby was predeceased by her husband Hermann in 1970, and is survived by her four daughters and their families.Barbara and her husband Jim Mullen.Sylvia and her husband Jim Paterson, their son Adam (and Sarah), and daughter Shawna (and Jake).Willa and her husband Mark Hoeflich, and their sons Philip and Eric.Karin and her daughter Ericka Cox.In her younger years Ruby was an active member of the Toronto Baptist Choral Society. She enjoyed singing, music, puttering in the garden, and of course knitting right up to the end. With her love for the Bahamas, we feel that her spirit can still be found playing nickel slots at El Casino.A private service for the immediate family will be held in the near future, with interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to either Camp Kwasind or Canadian Bible Society.
