Obituary of Marzelle Lacey

Marzelle T. Lacey of Junction City died Dec. 12 of age-related causes. She was 94. A memorial service is planned for later.She was born Feb. 3, 1917, in Maben, Miss., to J.A. and Iva Bradford Hightower. She married Richard Lacey on Nov. 30, 1945, in Eupora, Miss.She graduated from Eupora High School and from Wood College in Mississippi, and attended the University of Mississippi.She was a homemaker and taught piano and elementary school classes.Survivors include her husband.A daughter, Gloria Allen, died in 1987, and a son, Lee Bradford, died in 2009.Entombment will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
