Obituary of Marieta Labanda

Marieta Labanda Celi, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully the morning of April 15, 2020 at her home in Mississauga surrounded by her family. She was born August 2nd, 1948 in Guayaquil Ecuador to Victor Manuel Labanda and Eleonor Celi.Funeral will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home on Monday April 20, 2020 at 1:00PM officiated by her Children and grandchildren. Burial will follow at Glen Oaks Cemetery.She is survived by her five children Raul, Gilson, Maria Luisa, Miguel Angel and Darrell as well as her seven grandchildren Adrian, Gabriel, Enderson, Jason, Ashley, Gilianna and Valerie and her three greatgrandchildren Aliyana, Nastaya and Nelia She was the oldest of twelve children and is predeceased by her father Victor Manuel, her sisters Jaqueline and Maria Eugenia. And survived by her siblings Fanny, Jenny, Dolores, Gloria, Marina, Jose, Julio, Fausto and Miguel.She was selfless, kind, loyal, generous, caring, loving and always sought to learn, understand and spread the word of God. A truly beautiful soul full of love and life, her eyes projected happiness and kindness; her smile brought joy and her words brought peace and meaning. She will be missed and mourned by everyone who knew her and was lucky enough to have been touched by her.
