Robert HammondRobert L. “Bob” Hammond of Eugene died Dec. 18 of cardiac arrest. He was 83. A private family service is planned.He was born Nov. 29, 1928, in Osborne, Kan., to Lee and Miriam Van Wormer Hammond. He married Jane Davenport in 1952 in California. They were married for 36 years. He married Bette Carnine in 1989 in Eugene.He held a doctorate in education from the University of Southern California. He established evaluation models in universities across the nation and completed his career in the Springfield School District.Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Wendy Hammond of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.
