Obituary of 陳董秋萍女士 Chan
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Tsau-Ping Chan, lovingly known as “Pinky,” at the age of 84 on Monday, April 13, 2020. She was born as Tsau-Ping Tung in An Lu, Hubei, China. Tsau-Ping was the beloved wife of King-Sun, loving mother of Tung and dear MaMa to Emily, Alice, and Eleanor. She will be fondly missed by her husband, son, daughter-in-law, grand-daughters, brothers, sisters, extended family and friends here in Canada, the United States, Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mainland China. In view of current social distancing protocols, a private ceremony will take place at Highland Hills Funeral Home. For her many friends and extended family, a Celebration of Life gathering will take place after the current restrictions are lifted.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the following charities: Toronto Chung Wah Chinese School (Tsau-Ping was a supporter for over 30 years). Toronto General Hospital, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and North York General Hospital (She received wonderful care at these hospitals).谨以哀痛之情在此讣告, 陈董秋萍女士 (昵称Pinky)已于2020年4月13日(周一)走完了八十四年的人生旅程。秋萍出生于中国湖北省安陆市。她是陈景新医生深爱的妻子、东安和Pamela挚爱的母亲、Emily,Alice 和 Eleanor 亲爱的祖母 (嫲嫲)。对于秋萍的离世, 丈夫、儿媳、孙女、弟妹、亲属和朋友, 无论身在加拿大,美国,澳大利亚,香港,台湾以及中国大陆, 都深切地怀念她。鉴于疫情状况, 丧礼将会以私人仪式在Highland Hills Funeral Home 举行。日后 适当时候, 便会邀请各位亲朋戚友出席秋萍的追思记念会。大家可以用款项代替鲜花,捐赠秋萍支持超逾三十年的「多伦多中华学校」或是曾为她提供医疗服务的「多伦多全科医院」、「玛嘉烈公主癌症中心」和「 北约克全科医院」。
