Obituary of Pierino Iapichino

God called Pierino Iapichino peacefully on April 12th, 2020 at the ageof 90. He is now reunited in Heaven with his loving wife Esterina Onorina Iapichino; together in Heaven they will celebrate their 66th wedding anniversary on April 28th. Cherished by his loving children Caterina, (Domenico), Gaetano (Kathryn), and Luigi. Doting Nonno to Giovanna (Joseph), Nicola (Romina), Roberto, Peter James (Emma), Julia, Lucas, Rena and Lexi and, proud Bisnonno to Sophia Iapichino, Giacomo Fazari and Lorenzo Iapichino. Pierino was the strong, silent-type; truly a man of few words, but when he spoke it was worth listening to, as his phrases were meaningful and insightful. Pierino was an excellent provider, outstanding wine-maker, avid gardener (the best produce came from his garden inSt. Catherine's which he cherished) and master card player. He was a spiritual man whose special gift touched many throughout the world. He will be held dear in the hearts of his (surviving) brother Francesco, many relatives, and numerous friends. Hewill forever be with us in our hearts and memories. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Villa Forum, which was his home for the last 3 years, for their care and compassion.
