Pejović-Bradić, Dana, B.Eng, MBAJuly 7, 1963 – April 10, 2020Forever in our heartsIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Dana Pejović-Bradić on Friday, April 10, 2020, at the age of 56. Dana will always be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend and compassionate person.Dana focused her life on her family, which was her pride and joy. She was married to her husband Rasha for 18 years, filled with love, care and happiness. Their love culminated in the arrival of her long-awaited son, Mark. With Dana’s passing, Rasha lost the love of his life and his best friend, while Marko lost his greatest supporter and cheerleader. Both will carry memories of her forever in their hearts. She will be missed beyond words, and forever remembered by her father Stanislav, sister Ana, brother-in-law Dejan, and nephews Mihailo and Luka. Her compassion, kindness and irresistible smile will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Born on July 7, 1963, in Belgrade Serbia, Dana spent most of her adult life living in Canada. Dana completed an MBA (Master of Business Administration) with a focus on strategic planning at Sherbrooke University (Université de Sherbrooke), Quebec. She completed a Certificate in Business Administration at Bishop’s University and held a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. She had a fulfilling career, working for the Royal Bank of Canada and TD Canada Trust, as well as the LCBO and Petro Canada. Since 2004, the Bradic family has lived in Ottawa, where Dana worked at Canada Post and the Government of Canada before falling ill. A Private Funeral Service and interment will be held in the family plot at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa (Nepean) ON, K2C 3H1, with The Very Reverend Father Aleksandar Gujancic officiating. Due to the circumstances related to COVID-19, the visitation and reception to celebrate Dana’s life will be held at a later date, which will be announced at the earliest opportunity. The funeral ceremony and interment will be held at the gravesite with family members only. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the many healthcare professionals at the cancer care unit of Ottawa General Hospital Cancer Center, GyneOncology unit, as well as to Dr. Wylam Faught and Dr. Whetter Palliative care team at Ottawa Hospital.
