Obituary of Leonardus Wadya

It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our father Leonardus Wadya (Kwee Kiong Hie). He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Eatonville Care Centre, Etobicoke. As an architect in Indonesia, he decided to dedicate his work mainly to building Catholic churches, schools and hospitals. He migrated his family of 8, to Canada in 1970. Predeceased by his wife of 70 years, the late Angela Lily Wadya (nee Liem). Devoted father to Ignatius (Eve), John (Nila), Hubert (Ruth), Cyr (Chizuko), Andrea Tjioe (Paul) and Maria Wadya (Don). Beloved Opa (grandfather) to Kenneth, Lukas, Brian, Michael, Lisette, Maya, Michelle and Andrew; Great grandpa to Lorelei, Alana, Lilian, Levi, Zoe and Elijah. Our family would like to thank the staff of Eatonville Care Centre (2nd floor) for their loving care, and support.
