Obituary of Benito Santillo

Santillo, Benito August 23rd, 1940 – April 7th, 2020It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Benito Santillo at the age of 79 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Benito was a loving husband, caring father, affectionate grandfather, and a good friend. He was very kind to others, loveable, and always made us laugh. Benito was born as an identical twin along with his brother Floro Santillo (predeceased), in Vezzara, Conca della Campania, to Antonio Santillo and Rosa Sangiovani. In 1967, he moved to Montreal, Canada. He then moved to Toronto in 1968, and met his soon to be wife Maria Antonietta. They got married on June 5th, 1971 and had two kids – Antonio Santillo and Laura Santillo. Benito, is survived by his wife (Maria Santillo), daughter (Laura Santillo), son (Anthony Santillo), son in law (Remo Simone), granddaughters (Alba Simone, and Sofia Simone), and brother (Emilio Santillo).The Santillo family would like to thank both Trillium Health Partners, and CarePartners for their care, and support.A private Funeral service will be held on Saturday April 11th, with live online streaming beginning at 9:00am.
