Obituary of Romulo Venida Lamadrid

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear father, Romulo Venida Lamadrid. He passed away peacefully at The Westbury at the age of 83. He was a strong man with a focus on family, education, religion and great work ethics. He was a warrior the last five years, struggling with dementia and other existing health conditions.Predeceased by his parents (Pedro and Amada) and siblings (Rodolfo, Nelson and Luis), he was also a caring brother to his surviving siblings, Alex, Greta and Purisima.He was a beloved ex-husband and friend of our mom, Isabel. He was a doting father to Kay (Dave), Mae (Brian) and Michelle (Joel).He was a loving, funny and very proud grandfather to Lucas, Matthew, Mitchell, Kiara, Daniel, Aria and Tristan.He will be so greatly missed by his family, extended family and friends, and parish. We are heartbroken that he passed away with no family by his side during this unprecedented time.Our heartfelt thanks to the nursing home staff that cared for him initially at Camilla Care Community in Mississauga and then finally at The Westbury in Etobicoke.
