Obituary of Deanna Faye Tolliver-Baker

Sunrise: March 24, 1968 – Sunset: March 31, 2020Tolliver-Baker, Deanna Faye 52, of Mississauga, Ont, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, after a courageous battle. Deanna held her mom’s hand and at 9:40 p.m. peacefully passed away. Covered by unconditional Love of her Soulmate, Bestfriend, husband Michael, and embraced by family and friends near & far.Deanna was the daughter of the Late Charles Benjamin “Benny” Tolliver and mother, Patricia Tolliver. She will be sadly missed by her longtime partner of 20 years and married for 14 plus yrs, Michael Baker, sons, Donovan, Michael, and stepdaughter Cherelle. Grandchildren, Nyasha, Jaheim, Amari, and Essence. Sisters: Rownita, Brampton, Ont.; Ronalda, Kelly (Steve) Mills, East Preston, N.S. and Rose (Alexander) Fraser, North Preston, N.S. Brothers: Darrell, East Preston, Terry (Essie) Courtice, Ont., Van, Oshawa Ont., Trevor (Joel), Brampton, Ont., and Ross (Murna) Downey, Toronto, foster brother, Michael (Tina) Poirier, Courtice, Ont. Deanna is also survived by maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mildred Brooks, East Preston; many Aunts, Uncles, nieces & nephews. Godson Jevelle Bundy, chosen sister, Rhonda Tolliver-Beals, and Lifetime friend “besty” Tanya Howe.Deanna was predeceased by her twin sister Diana, maternal grandfather Mr. Clarence Brooks; Great-grandparents, Dea. & Mrs. William (Florence) Diggs and paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Charles (Annie) Tolliver.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity of your choice. Cremation will take place on Friday, April 3rd. A Celebration of Life will be planned by Family, TBA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brampton Funeral Home, Brampton, Ont.
