Obituary of Nance Gillespie

Nance GillespieNance Wolfe Gillespie of Eugene died Dec. 22 of age-related causes. She was 93.She was born July 25, 1918, in Baltimore to Humphrey and Nancy Lawhorn Wolfe. She married Dorwin Gillespie in 1943 in Virginia. He died in 1967.She received an undergraduate degree from St. Joseph’s College in Emmittsburg, Md., and a master’s degree from the University of Oregon. She worked as a school nurse in the Eugene School District for about 20 years.Survivors include two sons, Tom of Portland and John of Springfield; and two grandchildren.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.Remembrances to O’Hara Catholic School in Eugene.
