Robbins, BernardOn March 27, 2020, at Ottawa. Predeceased by parents Catherine St. Denis and John E. Robbins, and by brother Emmet. Bernie is survived by his dear family: wife Patricia (Hennessey), daughter Catherine of Toronto, son John David of Peterborough, and grandson Brandon.Bernie was a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Manitoba. His professional social work career spanned a variety of settings and cities, on the prairies and in Ontario, ending at The Ottawa Hospital, Civic campus, where he had been born.At Bernie’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Committal At Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery will take place at a later date. Those wishing to do so may make contributions to the Alzheimer Society or the Ottawa Humane Society.
