Obituary of Ronald Jackson Armstrong

Ronald Jackson Armstrong, 74 of Milford Bay, ON, succumbed to terminal cancer at Credit Valley hospital with his loving wife, by his side, on March 28, 2020.Ron is survived by his wife Joan of 53 years, son Terry, daughter Kelly, son-in-law Robert, grandson's Mason and Myles, brother Jim, sister-in-law Carol, and sister Joan. Ron was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all.Ron enjoyed life to the fullest and took an early retirement from the Toronto School board, to enjoy his later years in the Muskoka's and snow-birding to Florida in the winter months. Until his last days, Ron stayed committed to being hopeful and positive while not changing his personality and continued to voice his opinion . Ron enjoyed spending time with his family at the cottage, fishing, golfing, and watching his grand kids play (his favorite sport) hockey. The family would like to thank Princess Margaret and Credit Valley hospital doctors and nurses for taking such good care of Ron over the last 6 months. Also a special thanks to the support workers and nurses who visited Ron daily while he was receiving home care.A celebration of life ceremony will be planned at a later date when it is safe for everyone to attend.
