Daryl JamesonThe funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Eugene for Daryl Richard Jameson of Eugene, who died Dec. 19 of acute myelocytic leukemia. He was 72.He was born April 26, 1939, in Klamath Falls to Richard and Marie Dahms Jameson. He married Carol Partipilo on Aug. 19, 1978, in Springfield.He served in the Navy from 1957 to 1961. He worked as a meteorologist for the National Weather Service for 38 years, retiring in 1994.Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Sondra Jameson of Dallas, Cheron Novascone of Springfield and Cheryl Suzuki of Coburg; a son, Brian of Eugene; a brother, Philip of Keno; and three grandchildren.Burial with military honors will be at noon Friday, Dec. 30, at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society in Pittsfield, Mass.
